Product Description
Lucide AKRA is a compact cylindrical outdoor wall light. Its matt black powder-coated aluminium body creates a restrained architectural accent beside an entrance, across a facade or near a terrace. It emits light both upwards and downwards, using two pools of light to emphasise the height and texture of a wall.
There are 2 integrated LED sources, each rated at 6.5 W and 568 lm. Their combined nominal power is 13 W; the stated source outputs add up to 1136 lm, rather than representing a separately measured whole-luminaire output. A fixed 2700 K provides warm-white light, while CRI 80 describes colour rendering, helping you assess how planting and facade finishes will appear under the light.
The 24° beam angle produces a relatively focused beam. Both light directions are fixed, with one beam directed upwards and the other downwards; there are no swivelling heads. Choose the spacing between fittings and the illuminated surface to suit the intended lighting pattern.
Brightness and light colour are fixed. The light is switched using an external wall switch, not included. This version has no motion or day/night sensor; the light-source direction is fixed, so positioning determines the illuminated area.
Overall dimensions are 5.5 × 6.5 × 20 cm, with a cylindrical body diameter of Ø5.5 cm and a height of 20 cm. The matching rectangular aluminium wall-mounting section measures 5.5 × 1.5 × 20 cm. Net weight is 0.66 kg. The fitting is intended for surface mounting on a wall, with the electrical entry concealed behind the mounting section.
The light is designed for fixed connection to a 230 V mains supply; the manual specifies an operating range of 220–240 V, 50 Hz. Electrical Class I requires a protective-earth connection to the metal housing. No power cable with plug is fitted, so suitable outdoor wiring and a protected connection must be provided at the installation point.
The IP54 rating provides protection against harmful dust ingress and splashing water. The light can therefore be used outdoors with its seals correctly secured and its electrical connection protected. Position the installation so that its connections cannot sit in standing water.
The manufacturer specifies an expected LED life of 50 000 h and a switching endurance of 40 000 switching cycles. The light source has energy efficiency class F. Expected life is a technical service-life rating; the luminaire carries a 3-year warranty. The LED sources, installation materials and LED driver are included. No separate bulb is required.
