Product Description
STEINEL L 625 CAM SC is an outdoor wall light with a camera, motion sensor and two-way intercom. Its anthracite aluminium housing and opal glass diffuser bring lighting and remote viewing to the doorway. This generation offers video in up to 2K resolution and person detection processed within the device.
The 14 W light produces 925 lm of warm white 3000 K illumination. A 180° PIR sensor switches the light on when movement is detected and the selected twilight threshold is reached. Detection extends up to 10 m across the sensor's field, or 2 m for a person approaching directly. The recommended mounting height is 1.8–2 m. The camera can be turned manually through 90° to either side and adjusted vertically.
Live viewing, conversation and local recording
The STEINEL CAM 2 app lets you see the entrance, hear visitors and answer through the built-in microphone and speaker. Motion notifications highlight activity. On-device person detection and privacy masking let you adapt monitoring and hide selected areas from recordings. These are L 625 generation features.
Recordings stay locally on the included 16 GB microSD card. The manual recommends 128 GB and supports cards up to 256 GB. No cloud storage subscription is required. Bluetooth assists initial setup, while video transmission and control use 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, with Wi-Fi 4, 5 and 6 supported. A stable connection with at least 2 Mbit/s bandwidth is needed at the installation point.
Entrance lighting to suit your routine
Main light output is adjustable from 30 to 100 %, with basic lighting from 10 to 40 %. Choose an operating time of 1, 3, 10 or 15 minutes or select permanent lighting. The twilight threshold can be adjusted between 10 and 10,000 lux. The IP44 housing is designed for outdoor wall mounting and requires a mains connection. The integrated LED light source and control gear cannot be replaced. Article 092597.
