A simple shape for coordinated wall lighting
STEINEL L 845 C is a compact LED wall light with an anthracite aluminium body and an opal cover. Its cube-shaped form suits entrances, terraces and passages. Use one as a restrained lighting detail or repeat the same design along a facade. Matching the wall lights visually with GL 85 garden bollards can extend a consistent appearance from the building to the path.
The integrated LED source provides 719 lm at 9 W with a 3000 K warm-white colour. This is a suitable tone for a welcoming residential setting after dark. The opal cover creates an evenly illuminated surface, while the compact housing keeps the wall arrangement simple. Consider doors, windows and outdoor furniture when planning the positions.
Connected lighting without a built-in sensor
L 845 C has no local motion detector. Choose this version where sensing is not required at every light or to add lighting points to a compatible installation. Automatic response to approaching people requires connection to a compatible Bluetooth sensor product. If you need a detector inside this particular wall light, select L 845 SC.
Bluetooth Mesh allows compatible devices to communicate. In combination with a suitable sensor product, system functions can be configured through the STEINEL Connect app. This lets you plan sensing around the main approach points while positioning other luminaires to continue the lighting arrangement. Automatic functions depend on the connected system. The luminaire is not intended for operation with an external wall dimmer.
A fixed mains-powered installation
The IP44-rated light can be wall-mounted indoors or outdoors. It requires a 220–240 V mains supply with protective earth; wireless communication does not replace the power cable. The integrated LED source is non-replaceable. Have a qualified professional complete the connection following the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
