Product Description
Optonica 5107 is a 2 m aluminium profile for LED strip with a black body and a black cover. It gives a strip installation a defined outline that coordinates with dark furniture, shelving and black interior details. The matching finish also keeps the lighting line visually consistent when the LEDs are switched off.
With an external cross-section of 17.4 × 7 mm, the profile is suited to installations where a low height and a narrow mounting line matter. Possible positions include the underside of a shelf, a furniture edge or a recess where the light is intended to emphasise a surface or shape. Plan the cable entry and connection points alongside the position of the profile itself.
Before choosing components, compare the LED strip and connector dimensions with the profile's technical drawing and check the clearance required beneath the cover. The outside width of the profile is not the available strip width. This is particularly useful when planning plug-in connections, as a connector can be wider than the strip to which it attaches. Matching the components helps keep the installation neat and organised.
The aluminium base provides a mounting surface for the LED strip. Select the strip's power, light colour and control method for the intended effect, then choose a power supply that matches its voltage and total load. The profile is not a complete light source: it forms part of an LED lighting system assembled from compatible components.
One item is one complete 2 m profile with a black cover. Order by the number of full lengths required, rather than by individual metres. The black cover is a defining feature of this version and suits projects where the unlit lighting line should remain dark and visually integrated.
