Product Description
STEINEL L 691 S PMMA is a square outdoor LED wall light in anthracite with a distinctive front grid guard. Its aluminium base and opal PMMA cover form a robust housing, while the grid provides additional protection in front of the diffuser. It suits building entrances, courtyards and service areas where practical automatic lighting is needed.
The integrated 8.5 W LED system delivers 576 lm of warm white 3000 K light. The light source is already part of the fitting, so no separate bulb or colour temperature selection is required. A broad opal cover provides an evenly illuminated surface, framed by the anthracite body and grid for a restrained, functional appearance.
Adjust the response to the entrance
A 360° passive infrared sensor underneath the fitting switches the light in response to movement. Its maximum 7 m reach applies to movement across the detection zone; reach is shorter when approaching directly. Supplied shrouds can mask individual sectors. The recommended mounting height is 2 m, with a clear view of the approach so that walls or planting do not obstruct detection.
Control dials on the sensor module set the operating time from 5 seconds to 15 minutes and the twilight threshold from 2 to 1000 lux. Four programmes cover movement-controlled lighting, optional 10% basic lighting, night economy operation and a twilight mode without movement evaluation. Soft starting and stopping make brightness changes gradual, while four hours of continuous illumination can be selected when required.
IP44 protection and IK07 impact resistance suit outdoor wall mounting. Up to 10 L 690 S or L 691 S lights can be linked by cable for coordinated operation. This is the grid-equipped version, article 053031. The LED module and control gear cannot be replaced.
