Product Description
STEINEL L 690 S PMMA is a square outdoor LED wall light in anthracite for entrances and the area immediately around a building. An aluminium base and opal PMMA cover give it a straightforward, practical appearance. It suits a front door, side entrance or courtyard where automatic lighting and a robust construction are useful.
The integrated 8.5 W LED system provides 700 lm of warm white 3000 K light, with no separate bulb required. A sheet of self-adhesive house numbers is included for placing your address on the illuminated cover. The fitting can therefore provide both entrance lighting and a visible building number after dark. The number in the product image is an example.
Motion detection with physical controls
A 360° passive infrared sensor detects movement up to 7 m away when someone crosses the detection zone. Detection reach is shorter when approaching directly. Supplied masking shrouds allow unwanted sections to be excluded, helping keep the response focused on the intended entrance. The control dials sit on the removable sensor module, allowing settings to be adjusted without an app or remote control.
Operating time is adjustable from 5 seconds to 15 minutes, with a twilight threshold from 2 to 1000 lux. Soft starting and stopping create gradual brightness transitions. Four programmes offer operation with or without 10% basic lighting, an economy option that reduces lighting later at night, and twilight-controlled operation. Four hours of continuous light can also be selected when needed.
The IP44 and IK07 construction is designed for outdoor wall mounting. Up to 10 lights from this series can be connected by control cable to respond together. This is PMMA article 053000, without a front grid guard. The LED module and control gear are not replaceable.
